Pleasant Prairie, WI – Charges Dropped

April 21, 2012

A 16 year old Kenosha teenager had been charged with Negligent Homicide after colliding with a bicyclist on a dark and foggy stretch of highway.  The man her vehicle struck had been riding a bicycle without lights or reflectors, while wearing all dark clothing when the collision occurred.

Investigators from the Wisconsin State Patrol and Pleasant Prairie Police Department had recommended charges after ignoring visibility considerations.  GLCE’s Dan Billington set to work evaluating the collision and upon receiving his report, the Kenosha County District Attorney dropped all charges against the young teen.
