After a juvenile was struck and severely injured as a pedestrian while crossing in a dimly lit, marked crosswalk, the attorney for the injured person retained Mr. Billington.
During the course of the investigation Mr. Billington discovered that poorly planned and placed luminaires created a dangerous situation for pedestrian traffic between a residential subdivision and a convenience store.
Mr. Billington and his staff collected evidence and created trial exhibits which closely recreated the events which led up to the collision. After Mr. Billington’s deposition the defense requested the plaintiff to settle the matter for $1.75 Million.
